Job Description Job Description LHH is partnering with a growing dynamic holding company to find an experienced Senior Accountant in Irving, TX. This position offers a competitive salary of $95-100K plus bonus, an excellent benefits package, and a hybrid work schedule after training, 3 days in office and 2 work from home. Primary Responsibilities: · Prepare timely and accurate financial statements to support reporting requirements. · Contribute to the month-end and year-end close processes by completing assigned accounting functions. · Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance. · Track capital expenditures and maintain fixed asset records within subledgers. · Assist in preparing annual budgets, monitor performance, and analyze variances against forecasts. · Calculate and report monthly sales associate commissions with detailed payroll support. · Analyze financial data and provide clear summaries of the company's financial position. · Develop, update, and document accounting policies and business processes to reinforce internal controls. · Provide assistance during external, internal, banking, insurance, sales tax, and benefits audits. · Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and company standards. · Partner with the accounting team to improve workflows and strengthen financial procedures. · Research technical accounting issues, document findings, and communicate conclusions effectively. · Participate in departmental goal-setting to align initiatives with company objectives. · Support ad hoc projects and prepare additional reporting as needed. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
