a new member to join our QUALITY team as a: SR QUALITY ENGINEER The
Senior QE plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our
quality standards. Working within a cross functional team, you will
work within established quality assurance processes to ensure
product compliance with internal and external specifications. Key
Responsibilities Engage in detailed process analysis, ensuring the
highest levels of product integrity through the development and
enforcement of quality assurance practices. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues,
implementing effective corrective actions and continuous
improvement strategies. Conduct thorough audits and inspections,
identifying areas for process optimization while adhering to
industry standards and regulations. Develop and document
comprehensive quality control plans and processes, ensuring
alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
Utilize statistical methodologies to monitor product performance,
driving data-driven decisions and innovations within quality
management systems. Provide support in risk management activities,
identifying potential quality issues and recommending preventative
measures. Facilitate training sessions for team members to promote
quality awareness and reinforce process adherence. Maintain
accurate records of quality assurance activities, producing reports
that highlight trends, successes, and areas for development. Ensure
seamless communication with suppliers, partners, and internal
stakeholders on quality-related matters, fostering a culture of
quality excellence. Champion quality initiatives by leading
problem-solving workshops and quality improvement projects to
enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills We're Looking For Post
secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field of
study; a combination of education, training and years' working
experience will be considered. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience
in a quality assurance or quality control capacity within the
manufacturing industry. Proficient with quality management systems
(QMS) and familiar with industry standards such as ISO 9001 or IATF
16949. Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of
utilizing statistical process control (SPC) tools and techniques
effectively. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a
detail-oriented mindset. Ability to work collaboratively in a team
environment while demonstrating initiative and leadership when
necessary. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
with the ability to convey complex quality concepts clearly and
concisely. Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
are considered an asset. Proficient in using quality assurance
software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. At
