We are looking for a Production Associate at our Springfield, Virginia location to support our CARES Department. The Production Associate is responsible for inspection and evaluation of turnout gear and will perform alterations and cleaning as needed. Prospective candidates will need to have availability to work 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM on 1st Shift. This position reports to the Cares Supervisor. Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:
Inspection, review, and evaluation of turnout gear
Prep, repair, and conduct alterations of turnout gear
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Previous stitching experience preferred.
Able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
Basic knowledge of computers or tablets.

Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Experience Required :
Strong organization skills and high attention to detail.
Previous experience in Quality Control and Inspection desirable
Must be willing to work from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Hep B shot series will be required and provided by Globe/MSA
NFPA 1851 training will be required and provide by Globe/MSA
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of Globe products preferred.
