Technical ManagerOverall Focus: To ensure the continuous operation
of the production facility by maintaining, trouble shooting, and
repairing manufacturing equipment and facilitiesFLSA Designation:
Hourly Non- ExemptSalary Grade: M1PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES and
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSResponsible for the maintenance and repair of
all plant equipmentTroubleshoots machines or equipment, replaces
defective parts, orders parts not in stock, and adjusts equipment
as necessaryDiagnoses unusual sounds from machines or equipment to
detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with
operators and other maintenance workers to correct problem or
repair machinePerforms mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
and replaces parts as needed to existing systemsReads and
interprets blueprints, program listings, schematics and mechanical
and wiring diagramsProactive in detecting and correcting machine
performance problemsPerforms all preventative and scheduled
maintenance as assignedEnsures that all safety devices are
installed and operationalCleans and lubricates machine parts as
required.Inspect and tests machinery and equipment as
required.Installs equipment and completes work orders as
assignedPrep the job by collecting all required tools and parts
prior to shut down of equipmentWork with Operations to plan start
and stop of downtime in productionEnsures that work is completed
according to scheduleFollow all lock out/tag out proceduresContacts
appropriate person when questions ariseEnsures that all Safety
guidelines and procedures are followedEnsures that all SOPs are
being followedInforms A-lead and Food Safety of any food safety
concernsAdhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and job
instructionsFollow all GMPsAccesses needed parts and tracks what is
used according to established methodsCommunicate with team members
to convey status, bring up concerns, or point out roadblocks to
getting the equipment back into productionQUALIFICATIONS(Knowledge
and skills necessary to meet organizational
objectives)Education/Training: High School Diploma or
GEDCertifications/Licenses: noneExperience: 3 years' experience in
troubleshooting and repairing equipment and working with HMI and
