As a key member of the marketing team, the Communications
Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing Judson’s
digital marketing and communications activities. This includes
driving lead generation, managing digital platforms, and executing
authentic content strategies. The Coordinator sets goals, monitors
work and evaluates results to ensure that departmental objectives
are met and align with Judson Senior Living’s needs and mission.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this position helps
establish the organization’s overall communication policies and
priorities. The Communications Coordinator will also work directly
with the Director of Marketing, senior staff, and interns on
collaborative projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy, CRM & Lead Generation Assist in developing a
comprehensive digital marketing strategy for Judson and execute and
evaluate the plan. Develop timelines and goals for digital
marketing initiatives and track progress/success. Manage and
optimize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system’s
marketing automation functionalities, including setting up
automated workflows, lead scoring, and nurturing campaigns. Ensure
seamless integration and data flow between the CRM, website forms,
and other digital marketing platforms to maintain data integrity
and trigger timely communications. Assist with monitoring monthly
and annual dollars spent to adhere to the marketing budget. Content
Management & Brand Integrity Manage, publish, promote, and measure
online content delivered through the Judson website, blog, social
media, and automated email marketing programs. Actively capture and
manage photography of resident events and community life to create
authentic visual content for storytelling. Develop and execute
communications strategies that utilize event photography to
establish conversations, highlight resident experiences, and foster
a sense of community. Act as quality assurance advisor to ensure
all content, ads, posts, and communications align with Judson’s
organizational goals, needs, and mission. Partner with the Director
of Marketing to provide leadership and counsel to Judson staff
members on the use and integrity of logos and communication
vehicles to maintain consistency with overall Judson brand
guidelines. Partner with the Director of Marketing to manage
photography and videography for all web communications, and
interface with external contractors to create final products.
Assist with the development of internal communication methods to
keep all associates and residents at Judson informed, using apps,
texting, or new platforms for effective information sharing.
Support creative development of internal communications, including
development of surveys, fliers, and additional means of
communication to associates. Website & Online Presence Update the
website as needed to optimize the promotion of Judson communities,
events, programs, and services. Monitor Judson’s online reputation,
including reviews, comments, social media engagement, and forums.
Analysis & Administration Collaborate with outside contractors and
agencies on strategic digital marketing initiatives and assist with
managing the relationship on a day-to-day basis. Track progress and
effectiveness of web presence through Google Analytics and other
metrics provided by contracted partners. Analyze CRM and marketing
automation performance data to identify trends, optimize
communication funnels, and improve conversion rates. Research and
report on industry trends pertinent to the long-term care industry.
Report monthly results of all digital marketing efforts to the Vice
President of Sales & Marketing. Able to work under pressure and
prioritize tasks in a high-volume work environment where guidelines
and deadlines often change. Maintains a record of acceptable
attendance and punctuality. Observes all company rules and safety
procedures. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications,
Education and Certifications: Education: University graduate in
business, marketing, communications, or an equivalent combination
of education, training, and expertise preferred. Experience: A
minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing, digital marketing,
social media, public relations, or communications is preferred,
with experience specifically including digital marketing and social
media responsibilities. Skills: Experience in Canva and/or Adobe
Creative Suite, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform,
and strong working knowledge of marketing automation principles and
execution is a plus. Other: Valid Driver’s License, valid auto
insurance, and reliable transportation are required. Available to
work 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with evenings and weekends required as
needed. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Physical
Demands: Physical demands may include kneeling, reaching, pushing,
manipulating, talking, hearing, standing, sitting, and speaking on
the telephone and working on the computer for extended periods,
crouching, stooping, walking, lifting to 20 lbs., and repetitive
motion. Working Conditions: Working conditions include 70% base
office time with 25% of time spent in the Judson communities.
