Purchasing Administrator of Industrial Equipment

Can you read blueprints? The Purchasing Administrator of Industrial Equipment plays a vital role in supporting the procurement and supply chain functions of the organization.

Requirements

• Responsible for quoting and purchasing of heavy equipment and industrial supplies.
  
• Must be experienced in reading blueprints
  
• Engineering Degree "Preferred"with 5-10 years experience (this is flexible).
  
• Basic Typing and computer skills
  Data Management and Analysis:
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of purchasing activities, including purchase orders, contracts, pricing, and vendor information.
    
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities, trends, and areas for process improvement.
    Qualifications and Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
      
    • 5 years experience required in Engineering and Blue Print reading
      
    • Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in a purchasing or procurement-related role.
      
    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
      
    • Negotiation skills and ability to build positive vendor relationships.
