Lutheran Jamestown has been ingrained in the Jamestown, New
York, area since 1886. The organization provides a broad range of
youth and senior services to the western New York region. Lutheran
serves both seniors and youth with special needs.Description
Summary:Lutheran Jamestown, The Hultquist Place Assisted Facility
(a subsidiary of - Lutheran Social Services Group, Inc) located in
Jamestown, NY, is seeking an experienced Assisted Living Program
Administrator to join its team of dedicated healthcare
professionals. -The successful candidate will be responsible for
cultivating an atmosphere focused on customer service and resident,
family, and staff satisfaction in accordance with policies and
procedures established by the Board of Directors and the
regulations as defined by the NYS Department of Health. The
Administrator directly supervises eight staff and leads a team of
30 healthcare professionals.Responsibilities:
Develops internal quality
measurements that support organizational goals and continuous
improvement through a departmental goal-setting processFacilitates
leadership development via coaching and counseling with staff as
neededCoordinates with department heads to assess delivery of
quality services and resolutions of complaints; proactively
resolves customer problems Meets with and listens to residents,
families, and staff, responding to inquiries in a timely
mannerEstablishes team-based work systems in both divisions and
organizations; conducts team meetings regularlyDevelops and
maintains written policies and procedures for the successful
operation of the facility and ensures that they are implemented and
followedSees that all services are provided within the context of
the facility's philosophy and mission and are consistent with its
goals and directivesServes as advisor to the CEO providing
information regarding the nature of complaints, status problems,
and the needs of the division; recommends modification or
termination of services based on needs of the agencyEnsures the
facility is in full compliance with NYS Department of Health
rulesCoordinates and ensures that the facility maintains a Quality
Assurance & Safety Program; submits quarterly reports to the Board
of Directors in a timely fashionParticipates in Strategic Planning
initiatives and reports regularly to CEO and Board of
DirectorsRecommends current capital and operational needs of the
DivisionIn partnership with the Controller prepares and proposes an
annual operating budget that will assist the CEO in enhancing the
agency's fiscal stabilityMonitors income and expenses on a
continual basis to ensure that resources are used efficiently and
in accordance with established plans and goal management
priorities; adjusts operations as necessary to meet changes in
incomeWorks with the Director of HR to ensure that staffing
patterns and job descriptions are established for efficiency, that
staff is up to date on required trainings, and administers HR
policies and practices across the divisionPromotes favorable public
relations and works to increase community awareness and support of
the homeParticipates in ongoing educational development and
participates in State and National associations pertaining to the
home; encourages educational and professional development in
staffQualifications and Skills:
Associates Degree Required;
Bachelor's Degree PreferredPrevious ALP/Nursing Home management
experience OR 3-5 years nursing management experience5-7 years
general management experienceCurrent Registered Nurse License
PreferredCommunicates clearly, accurately, and timely both verbally
and in writingProvides a positive experience to external and
internal customersGenerates innovative ideas, approaches, and
solutions; Anticipates and recognizes potential problems; Generates
