Description: Forge Helper 19+Working five 10-hour shifts (Monday-Friday)First shift production is 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, Third shift is 8:00 pm to 6:00 am Individuals will have ability to grow in both position and pay over time--- Helping with furnace operation--- Loading steel parts onto conveyor belts--- Cutting steel billets to length--- Quality hot inspection--- Checking parts using micrometers, calipers, tape measures--- Grinding parts to specifications--- Machine operating--- Material handling/shipping--- Tow motor and overhead craneAdditional Skills & Qualifications:- Must Haves: - Must be open to multiple shifts- 3 Months of manufacturing experience- Comfortable standing for 10 hours/working in hot/loud environment - cold in the winterPlus:- Micrometers, calipers, gauges- Tow Motor/Overhead crane- furnace experience About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
