We hope so.The IT Solution Architect aligned to HR and Finance plays a central and highly visible role in the efforts of HR and Finance to introduce technology solutions that empower us to be more agile in delivering strategic and operational outcomes for the business and enable us to drive efficiency across key accounting and finance workstreams. The incumbent will provide a bridge between specific business opportunities and the technology solutions needed to support them, balancing long-term technology decisions with project execution in the short-term. They will oversee the delivery of technology solutions for both HR and Finance and partner with Enterprise Architecture to create executable technology roadmaps. The incumbent will also have great opportunities to influence our way of working, drive continuous improvement, and set our information technology roadmap for current and future business needs.For this position, there is a high focus on interpersonal skills and attitude. The incumbent has an ability to create strong networks, energize people, mobilize teams, and act as a positive influencer of change.Responsibilities: Provide Support for Strategic Technology Decisionso Engage, collaborate, and partner with leadership in HR and Finance to understand their current and future business needs and support development of technology roadmapso Investigate business requirements and seek effective business solutions through the design and implementation of technology solutions and/or business process improvementso Proactively evaluate how different elements of business, information, and technology can be applied to solve specific problems, optimize work processes, and create better outcomes Design, Develop and Deliver Solutionso Execute on technology roadmaps that may span multiple projects over multiple years by leading the design and overseeing the implementation of business technology solutionso Support projects throughout the lifecycle by providing oversight and guidance on deliverables to ensure consistency with original design as well as overall qualityo Foster culture change through training, development and coaching to drive adoption of new technologies and help teams embrace to new ways of working Business Case Development and Project Portfolio Managemento Support development of business cases by assessing possible technology solutions, level of effort to implement, and support needs once solutions are implementedo Support prioritization process for smaller non-project requests by reviewing and interpreting requirements to drive high-level solutioning, level of effort collection, and roadmap alignment Collaboration and Supporto Build and leverage ongoing cross-functional relationships to bring together new ideas, drive consensus, remove barriers, and continuously improveo Initiate and lead small cross-functional teams as necessary to resolve major issues or system problems through business process or technology improvements Technology and Business Expertiseo Demonstrate thought leadership in industry trends, innovations, and future technology developments and assess their relevance and potential value to HR and Financeo Establish and maintain business process expertise of HR and Finance core processeso Help leaders and their teams think through the technology, business, and operational implications of information technology investment opportunities and decisionsQualifications:Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:--- Demonstrated ability to achieve project goals or targets no matter the business climate--- Proven ability to build partnerships and work across functions / different global regions--- Demonstrated ability to lead change--- Proven ability to align business strategy with technology strategy--- Solid leadership, consultative, and negotiation skills--- Solid problem solving skills--- Demonstrated ability to present information on a technical subject in a concise and measured manner to the needs of the target audience--- Phenomenal interpersonal skills and a collaborative, enthusiastic approach to strategy and delivery--- Travel up to 10%Education Required:--- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplineExperience Required:--- 10 years IT experience (or related); 3 years leadership experience (leading cross-functional projects and/or technical teams)Preferred:--- Experience in HR and/or Finance processes--- Experience in agile practices and agile project delivery
