Must Haves:
Five (5) or more years of
multi-functional accounting experience required, Manufacturing and
Cost Accounting experience preferredBachelor’s degree in
accounting, finance, or other related discipline required, MBA
and/or CMA preferredThorough knowledge of accounting principles and
proceduresExperience with GL functionsExperience with creating
financial statementsExperience with month-end/year-end close
processStrong business process and documentation skills; capable of
developing effective processes, enhancing existing processes, and
producing high quality results.Customer service orientation with
the ability to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction.Excellent
organizational skills; effective in planning, prioritizing and
managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.Knowledge of and
experience with cash management, including performing international
wire transfers, ACH payments, and maintaining lines of

preferred High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially

Job Description
- Responsible for all aspects of accounting
(accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger
entries, bank reconciliation, credit card expense report
reconciliation, cash applications, collections)
- Process new customer credit references and
assign credit limits and terms
- Research technical accounting issues for
compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close
processes
- Prepare detailed journal entries and
account analyses/reconciliation
- Ensure quality control over financial
transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and
federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and
accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal
controls
- Assist Chief Financial Officer with
external auditors to ensure successful audit results and
compliance
- Perform all duties of ERP Cost Accountant,
inventory reporting, and preparation of inventory-related journal
entries and special analysis as requested by the Chief Financial
Officer.
- Continuous improvement: Analyze existing
accounting processes and procedures in order to recommend
improvements in both strategy and operations, including methods to
extensively utilize the ERP system to improve efficiency.
- Provide support to the payroll processing
function
- Maintain files and comply with record
retention requirements
- Additional accounting duties/special
projects as necessary
