Jamestown Community College, a SUNY institution, is a
comprehensive community college with degree granting campuses in
Jamestown, Olean, and Dunkirk, New York. JCC is an innovative, open

transfer degree programs, career programs, community service,

Jamestown Community College is seeking a part-time (Adjunct)
Counselor for the Jamestown Campus, beginning immediately.
Responsibilities include a full range of academic advisement,
career counseling, transfer, and short-term personal problem
solving. Candidate should be qualified to teach courses in personal
growth, career decision-making, or other related areas. Contracts
are issued on a semester by semester basis, with the opportunity to
work in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
Primarily day time hours; some limited evening or weekend hours
may be required.
Required: Masters degree (or higher) in counseling (e.g., Career
Counseling, Vocational Rehab, Clinical) or closely related
Preferred: Minimum of one year professional experience in a
career counseling setting. Prior college-level teaching.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
