The Manufacturing Assistant helps accomplish the manufacture of
finished products and their corresponding intermediates within an
assigned production area of the facility in order to assure an
uninterrupted supply of quality products to customers.
Operate packaging and filtration equipment, pumps, and scales.
Prepare containers for the packaging of finished products. Prepare
requisitions and perform repack operations. Manufacture blend
batches. Prepare polymer solutions and pre-wets. Operate forklifts
and drum trucks (two wheel, four wheel, handcarts). Use grind
gauges and thermometers. Stand (up to 100% of the time), walk (up
to 100% of the time), bend 90 degrees (up to 90% of the time),
push/pull (up to 75% of the time), lift (up to 50% of the time),
and climb stairs (up to 25% of the time). Lift/carry materials
weighing up to 55 pounds (up to 50% of the time). Work in all
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent.
