Job Description:

S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is looking for a Credit Review Specialist to manage and perform loan reviews for financial institution clients. This is primarily a remote role with minimal (less than 10 percent annually) travel to clients' offices or the firm's offices. *NOTE: this role requires the employee to be in the state of Pennsyvlania or a neighboring state. Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of the loan review section of the engagement, including perform loan reviews of complex loan types (e.g., commercial real estate, agricultural, commercial and industrial) and select sample of standardized portfolios, including large or high-risk lending areas)
• Submit written reports detailing internal loan and credit administration reviews
• Understand credit risk management best practices, policies and procedures, as well as loan accounting, credit analysis, financial analysis, lending practices, banking regulations, and the Uniform Commercial Code, and remain up-to-date with industry best practices
• Maintain and develop existing client relationships Qualifications:
  • Only candidates with loan review experience will be considered, such as 1) Minimum of three years of direct loan review or loan audit experience, OR, 2) a minimum of five years of equivalent lending, credit underwriting, or portfolio management experience, OR minimum of two years of prior regulatory examination experience
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture orientation
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables in a fast-paced and changing work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills to prepare and present persuasive verbal and written reports
