(AFI) is one of the premier fiberglass manufacturers leading the industry for over 20 years in design and manufacture of custom fiberglass in our state of the art manufacturing facility in Cleveland, OH. We custom design and manufacture interior and exterior decorative fiberglass reinforced polymer (FTP) ornamentation for the restoration, reproduction and new construction industries. AFI is looking to hire Fiberglass Repair Technician Employee to help our business continue to grow. This candidate must be organized, self-motivated, and able to communicate with professionalism. This is a unique position that requires NO EXPERIENCE. WE WILL TRAIN ALL ASPECTS OF THIS JOB. All that is needed to become an AFI employee is the willingness to learn and the desire to put forth your best efforts. This work involves repairing laminated materials. We will train specifics relating to this job. Some responsibilities may include working with fiberglass molds, sealing, waxing, buffing and possibly some sanding. Must be able to follow detailed instructions and work effectively in a team environment. This employee will also participate in quality inspection of the product. Employees will be responsible for cleaning his/her area after use and general housekeeping plus any other duties that the Supervisor may request.
