TransForce, a leader in CDL staffing and compliance services, is currently seeking a highly skilled CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver to join our dedicated team. This position involves the transportation of goods using a flatbed truck, requiring a driver not only with excellent driving skills but also with superb knowledge in load securing techniques. Our drivers are essential in maintaining our reputation for safety and efficiency, with a focus on timely delivery and respect for client cargo. Operate a flatbed truck to transport goods to various locations in a safe and timely manner. Secure cargo properly using chains, straps, or covers to prevent damage during transportation. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes efficiently considering weather and traffic, and comply with truck driving rules and regulations. Handle documentation related to deliveries, such as bills of lading and logs via electronic or manual methods. Maintain communication with dispatch to report any issues or deviations from the planned route. Profound ability in operating flatbed trucks. Deep knowledge of load securing techniques. Strong navigational and route management skills. Ability to maintain composure and make decisions in challenging situations. Excellent physical condition and endurance.
