Clean Harbors, a leader in the environmental services industry in North America, is seeking a skilled CDL Driver with a Class A license and Hazmat endorsement to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in helping us achieve our mission of safeguarding the environment through safe and responsible handling and transportation of hazardous materials. As a CDL Driver at Clean Harbors, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the environmental safety and compliance of our operations, participating directly in our efforts to protect the planet while adhering to the highest safety standards. Operate Class A vehicles in a safe and efficient manner while complying with all governmental and company regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials. Load, transport, and unload hazardous wastes and materials, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental laws. Prepare, maintain, and manage detailed logs and documentation of vehicle inspections, condition reports, and other mandatory records. Collaborate with dispatch coordinators to manage routes and schedules effectively. Perform emergency response duties when needed, assisting with spill cleanup operations under company and regulatory protocols. Conduct daily inspections of vehicle and equipment, and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting, reporting any malfunctions or safety issues to management immediately. Strong driving record with expertise in handling hazardous materials. Proficiency in managing documentation and adherence to transport regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with customers and regulatory authorities. Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. DOT physical examination certification.
