Job Description:
Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with Century Federal
Credit Union in Independence, OH in their search for a Chief People
Experience Officer. Century Federal Credit Union is one of the
largest credit unions in Northeast Ohio with over $400 million in
assets and serving the financial needs of over 34,000 members at
350 Select Employee Groups (SEGs) throughout the Greater Cleveland
area. Position Summary: The Chief People Experience Officer is
responsible for the strategic vision and long-term planning,
overall direction, organization, implementation, and execution of
the human resources function. The CPEO serves as an internal
consultant and collaborative business partner by articulating HR
needs and plans to the senior staff, board of directors,
supervisors, staff and other stakeholders, on Human Resources
matters, with a high degree of confidentiality, integrity and
judgment ensuring compliance with policies, and that procedures and
programs are consistently applied in accordance with the company’s
mission, vision and objectives. The CPEO is responsible for
fostering a healthy organizational culture that supports growth and
equal opportunity. Skills & Abilities: Highly proficient in the use
of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills. Ability
to analyze, refine, summarize, and clearly present data and
information. Passion for service. Strong leadership with
demonstrated record of success in coaching, training and motivating
employees. Prior knowledge of all areas within Human Resources
including legal compliance, training, health and safety, benefits,
employee relations, recruiting, etc. Excellent negotiation,
problem-solving skills, verbal, written communication, and conflict
resolution skills. Passion for service. Strong business acumen.
Natural persuasive abilities. Well organized and self-directed,
intelligent and possess the ability to relate to people at all
levels of an organization. Sound knowledge of labor laws and HR
functions. Experience: 15 years’ experience of human resources
including extensive generalist experience required. Experience in
policy formulating, development, and implementation of key HR
strategies and procedures. 10 years of working experience in a
senior Human Resources position, preferably working as a Director
HR Business Partner, Director Training and Development, Head of HR
Administration, or Director Recruiting. Prior senior management
level experience required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in human
resources or related field, MBA or MA/MS preferred. SHRM Senior
Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional
(SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
