Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a temporary DEI Specialist to join their team. As DEI Specialist, you will be part of the Associate Experience (HR) function supporting Putting People First initiatives, Associate Resource Groups, and cross-functional business partners. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: DEI Specialist (Temporary) Location: Buffalo, NY (Hybrid) Pay Range: $28-33/hour Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm What’s the Job? Research global DEI and belonging trends to inform strategy, mitigate risk, and support compliance Manage and execute associate-facing Putting People First programs and initiatives Partner with HR, Associate Resource Groups, and business stakeholders to embed inclusive practices Develop communications, presentations, and storytelling materials for diverse audiences Track, analyze, and report on program data to measure impact and drive continuous improvement What’s Needed? 3 years of experience supporting Human Resources, DEI/belonging, or business strategy initiatives Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Experience using survey platforms, analytics tools, and reporting frameworks Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to large groups Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) What’s in it for me?
