Candidates with experience in open heart and endovascular surgery are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Provide perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Assist in complex open heart and endovascular procedures including cases involving IABP, Impella, and ECMO support Collaborate closely with a team of cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons during surgeries Manage 2 to 10 cardiovascular cases daily in a high-acuity environment Ensure patient safety and adherence to sterile protocols in all cardiovascular and hybrid operating rooms Desired Experience and Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license required Specialized CVOR experience with a focus on open heart and endovascular surgeries Proficiency in managing advanced circulatory support devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Level I trauma center environment Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration across multidisciplinary teams Location Highlights: Irving, TX is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, offering vibrant cultural attractions, excellent dining, and diverse entertainment options.
