A school-based occupational therapist opportunity is available in Tonawanda, NY for a contract position covering a maternity leave. This full-time role begins ASAP and extends through the Christmas break, providing support and therapy services to students in the school setting. Responsibilities: Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational staff to support student success Conduct assessments and develop therapy goals tailored to school-related activities Document progress and maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and intervention strategies Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and interventions Familiarity with school-based therapy regulations and special education processes Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage caseload independently and efficiently Location:Tonawanda, New York work within a school environment providing direct therapy services to children.
