Description Are you an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician
seeking a challenging and impactful role near Hadley, PA? This
permanent opportunity offers a dynamic position in advanced life
support, trauma care, and the management of life-threatening
situations. Position Highlights: Specialized Expertise: As an
Emergency Medicine Physician, you will specialize in advanced life
support, resuscitation, trauma care, fractures, soft tissue
injuries, and the management of other critical situations.
Responsibilities: Treat patients requiring acute and life-saving
care, adhering to state and national standards. Conduct patient
examinations and update medical histories as necessary. Prescribe
appropriate medications, health regimens, and lifestyle adjustments
for patient recovery and prevention. Order and interpret necessary
tests, reporting results to patients. Comply with state licensure
requirements, including continuing education. Notify relevant
agencies of injuries as required. Provide acute care, referrals to
specialists, and ensure accurate documentation of services.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Characteristics: Adherence to AOA
or AMA code of ethics. Familiarity with general medical coding and
related information. Compliance with state and federal regulations
and safety protocols. Knowledge of patient privacy (HIPAA) and OSHA
guidelines. Strong computer literacy, including MS Office Suite and
data entry skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to
detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Effective
communication and interpersonal skills for patient engagement.
Flexibility to accept additional duties as needed for facility
requirements. Minimum Qualifications: Degree from an approved
medical school (D.O. or M.D.) with an approved residency. Current
Pennsylvania medical license required. Two to five years or more of
practicing experience preferred. Physical Demands: Ability to
stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, and lift up to 25
pounds. Specific vision abilities to distinguish the nature of
