Are you an RN who's ready for a new challenge? The Nurse Manager is
responsible for providing direct oversight and workflow guidance
for the daily operations of the Primary & Specialty Care Practice.
They are responsible for performing the duties of a registered
nurse, managing direct reports and assisting with quality
assessment and improvement. They collaborate with and support team
members to ensure a patient-focused approach to care. As part of
the essential functions of this role, the Nurse Manager: Oversees
daily workflow of assigned clinical staff; assures adequate
staffing by determining staff assignments to provide essential
coverage Oversees telephone triage through monitoring of phone
queue and ensuring ClearTriage is utilized Monitors daily
operations to help ensure adherence to documented administrative
and departmental policies and procedures Communicates status of
daily operations as well as problems hindering workflow to Director
of Clinical Operations in a timely manner Works in collaboration
with other nursing leads to ensure clinic duties, tasks and
coverage are completed within specified timeframe of agency
policies and procedures Collaborate and support the team members to
ensure a patient-focused approach to care Ensures regulatory
compliance by completing monthly safety rounds Ensures invoices and
billing correspondence are addressed timely Develops, maintains,
and holds nursing department staff accountable to policies and
procedures Collaborate and support the team members to ensure a
patient-focused approach to care Intercedes to support patients in
clinical issues and complaints as soon as able; assists in
de-escalating, documenting, and supporting resolution Qualified
Candidate will have Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR a
documented plan to complete a BSN within NYSED's RN BSN requirement
timeframe OR Associate degree with degree/license dates meeting
NYSED’s exemption requirements; current license to practice as a
Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State; current BCLS
certification; one (1) years of experience in a medical office
setting, with ambulatory outpatient experience preferred; candidate
must have familiarity with computers, EMR software (Medent), and MS
Office software (Outlook, Word); ideal candidate will have previous
staff supervisory experience; candidate must be able to communicate
clearly and professionally in writing and verbally; awareness of
and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by
underserved populations is essential. Job Type: Full-time Required
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR a documented

OR Associate degree with degree/license dates meeting NYSED’s
exemption requirements Required license: Registered Nurse (RN) (New
York State) Required certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support
(BCLS) Required Experience : minimum of one (1) year experience in
a medical setting, with ambulatory outpatient experience preferred;
experience supervising staff strongly preferred This position is

based on a variety of individualized factors, including but not
limited to a candidate’s skills, relevant experience, educational
