Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Buffalo, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3x12: 6:45pm - 7pm. /n - Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. /n - Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse. /n - Educates patients on surgical procedures; Records patients’ medical information and vital signs. /n - Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays. /n /n - /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York. /n - 2 years of acute medical-surgical nursing experience required. /n - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required. /n /n/nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
