Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Job Function: Day Shift & Night Shift. 3x12: 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am. Administering medications, monitoring vital signs and providing vital nutrients to newborns. Ensure that infants are breathing and maturing properly. Assist physicians in treatment plans and examinations. Maintain and update records of the patient's care. Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license in the state of New York. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required. NRP certification required. Fetal Monitoring certification required. 2 full years of acute care experience in this specialty.
