• ED Volume: 16,000
• 10 treatment rooms plus 4 behavioral health beds
• New ED to be built with construction scheduled to begin in November 2022
• Level II ED has lower acuity, community-type patient pathology with approximately 10% admission rate
• Established referral programs to other local hospitals when necessary
• Meditech EMR with Dragon dictation
• Resident and medical student ED rotations include Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Podiatry, Pharmacy, Orthopedic Surgery and Transitional Year
• Psych resident in the ED 24 hours per day
• Approximately 95% of admissions handled by established hospitalist service
• ED Ultrasound
• Rapid radiology reads and lab results

  • Recognized as the regional leader in Behavioral Health, it s the largest provider of behavioral healthcare in NW Pennsylvania with 85 beds spread across three specialized units for children, adults, and older adults and an adult partial hospitalization program
  • Senior services include an ACE unit (Acute Care for Everyone). In addition, the LECOM Senior Living Center is a nursing and rehabilitation facility connected to the hospital for maximum patient convenience and access to full hospital services.
  • Millcreek offers more physician residency programs than any hospital in the tri-state region. As a teaching hospital, it is affiliated with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) which is the nation s largest medical school in terms of enrolled students.
