Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon opening in Erie, PA Buffalo, NY 97m; Cleveland, OH 102m; Pittsburgh 128m Seeking a Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon with interest in trauma surgery, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care. Accredited trauma center has access 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to a team of skilled medical professionals who are specially trained to provide the highest level of care available to severely injured or ill patients. Multidisciplinary Trauma Care Team includes: General and trauma surgeons, Emergency physicians and nurses, Neurosurgeons, Interventional radiologists, Orthopaedic surgeons, Cardiovascular surgeons, Radiologists, Anesthesiologists, and Reconstructive surgeons Completed training in general surgery and surgical critical care or surgical critical care acute care surgery Board eligible/certified in surgery and surgical critical care Superior clinical skills Strong commitment to academic surgery and surgical education Candidates can expect: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience/training Paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance Medical, dental and vision insurance Short and long-term disability Group Life insurance Robust retirement plans Customary and reasonable moving expensesLocated on beautiful Presque Isle Bay and Lake Erie, Erie County is a short drive from the major metropolitan areas of Buffalo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Toronto via Interstates 79, 90 or scenic routes such as Route 5 (The Great Lakes Seaway Trail - An Americas Byway) and Historic Pennsylvania Route 6.
