Job Description:
An higher education institute needs applicants for an opening
for a Remote University Medical Billing Coding Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
Assisting and reviewing with students billing discrepancies, unpaid
claims discrepancies and appeal processes
Instructing students in on use of the insurance company's website
regarding printing ID cards
Collaborating with campus professionals to facilitate programs that
promote student health insurance
Required Skills:
Minimum of three to five years of work related experience
High school (or GED) level ability in spelling, grammar, basic
composition, and math
Knowledge with electronic medical records
Knowledge of student health insurance program
Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA, privacy and confidentiality
requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
