Director of Nursing (ADON) OF SUBACUTE UNITSHIFT: Full-TimeSign on Bonus: Up to $10,000JOB SUMMARY: The ADON of Subacute plans, organizes, develops and directs the overall operations of the Subacute unit in accordance with all state, federal and local guidelines/regulations to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times at the facility.RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinates nursing services with other resident care services such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Dietary, Social Services and Pharmacy services for subacute patientsOversees the coordination of all physicians and their associates that provide services for subacute patientsDirecting, coordinating, and supervising the activities of all nursing staff engaged on subacute unitMaintains accurate documentation in the clinical record of the ongoing progress of the residents condition and all other related factors involved in the total plan of careMaintenance of Resident Care Plans and the overall management of resident care on subacute unitMaintains confidentiality of all resident informationREQUIREMENTS:Degree from an accredited school of nursingCurrent and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York requiredMust have a minimum of one year of experience in nursing service administration.
