Position Summary:

The Applications Manager is responsible for creating growth opportunities through change and innovation projects. Activities include development of products, the management of product portfolio of a product-line, monitoring of competitors product development, and training the technical sales force across the regions. This position is also responsible for resolving customer's technical problems within their specific sales territory. -



Key Accountabilities:

• Transfers customer needs into technical specifications and ensures technical feasibility.
  
• Develips product ideas, product modifications and product adoptions.
  
• Monitors customers, competitors and their specific technical requirements.
  
• Secures product specific application knowledge across all Segments.
  
• Interface between T&I, New Business Development, Operations, and SCM.
  
• Coordinates and attends product related BD and T&I activities.
  
• Training of Technical Sales Managers and communicates Product-line technical knowledge between the regions.
  
• Participates in global product-line team
  
  
  
  
  Your Profile:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Commercial field
    
  • Experience in a Technical Role
    
  • Knowledge of local language and culture
    
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
    
  • Ability to manage a customer base that extends over several states
    
  • Working understanding of financial concepts (OP, WC, DWC, Margins and Cash Flow)
    
  • Ability to work independently -without close supervision and willingness to travel
    
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Powerpoint), SAP and CRM
