Key Account Managers are responsible for providing complete customer service within Wavepoint 3PL in a timely and professional manner that supports the growth of our customers and organization. Account Managers will coordinate shipments using our internal Transportation Management System as well as customer specific portals and engage in continuous communication with customers and carriers to ensure on-time delivery. The incumbent will also capitalize on growth opportunities and promote expansion of current customer volume when an opportunity arises and conduct regular account analysis and conflict resolution.Proactively and diligently handle day-to-day operational needs of the customer base through various transportation solutions and systems.Perform continuous customer analysis and maintain the highest level of standard and customer scorecard rating.Proactively resolve issues or obstacles that may prevent on-time deliver or reduced customer satisfaction including customer PO due date conflicts.Maintain contact and foster a business relationship with current customers to offer quality customer service and serve as a point of contact for account management support if needed including track and trace information, load status and third-party web portals.Maintain carrier contacts and other parties involved in customer transactions to ensure seamless transactions occur with OTD and OTP.Continuously track and trace freight movement and resolve any barriers or challenges that may disrupt business and communicate details to the customer.Perform customer analysis to ensure proper attention is given to mitigating potential failures and maintaining customer KPI scorecardCapitalize on new business through opportunity recognition for additional freight volume.Identify creative solutions and continuous improvement opportunities to promote growth and increased service.Coordinate customer shipments and freight order management using our TMS.

Requirements:
Key Account ManagerHigh initiative and high energy with a strong understanding and drive for a positive Customer Experience.Ability to develop long-term relationships.Proficient in technology including Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce or like software.Confident verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.Ability to manage and prioritize high call volumes and data and complex transactional and emotional customer situations.Two (2) + years of customer service, logistics, pricing, and supply chain management preferredPI191379126
