As a product line manager in the portable gas detection space, you'll be working at the epicenter of on a small, nimble team managing a product line with global reach and scale - which means unlimited opportunity for you to make a massive impact. 5,000+ workers die on the job annually.   • Deeply understand our customers, markets and competitors to produce valuable customer insight that can be turned into profitable features, products and services that our customers love
  • Build strategy that is robust, progressive, forward-thinking and drives accelerated business performance with sustainable competitive advantage, time-to-market and development efficiency
  • Own, build and drive the success of our product and services vision, strategy and roadmap
  • Develop and drive unique, differentiated business models that support our strategy and align with customer buying behavior
  • Work closely with our design team to drive human-centered design processes into the development process and come to life with amazing UX/UI experiences that hit at the heart of our customers' problems
  • Work methodically to tackle complex, difficult problems to deliver innovative solutions
  • Work cross-functionally across the business - engineering, design, operations, sales - to drive tangible business value and results and progressive approaches in a period of accelerated transformation
  • Drive ruthless prioritization & focus on features, products, services and efforts that deliver maximum business value to avoid organizational distractions
  • Disregard the status quo - and set expectations for performance that continually increases slope through exponential growth
  • Get things done - setting expectations for excellence and hitting key performance indicators that are aggressive & challenging
  • Domestic/international travel up to 25%QualificationsSpecial Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
    • A tremendous passion to change the face of worker and worksite safety in a technology-powered world
    • Proven ability to develop, shape and drive the success of products and/or services
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and successfully with engineering
    • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and execute many tasks in parallel with minimal resources
    • Outstanding organization, communication, presentation and leadership through influence skills
    • Solid analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated data-driven mindset
    • Demonstrated ability to be highly adaptive to frequent change - you don't just accept it, it's when you do your best work
    • Proven ability to flatten your tech learning curve - no matter what tech it is
    • Demonstrated ability to identify, understand and implement outstanding design - from intuitive user interfaces to frictionless user experiences - with evidence to back it up
    • Solid understanding of technology development & product management best-practices (such as Agile, MVP, Scrum, OTA updates, Design Thinking, etc.)
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and the ability to work at high-speeds with incomplete informationEducation and Experience Required:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Design or equivalent experience
      • This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience, education
        • Level one: 5 years of experience in marketing, sales or product development (engineering)
        • Level two: 7 years of experience in marketing, sales or product development (engineering)
        • Level three: 9 years of experience in marketing, sales or product development (engineering)
        • An MBA or related graduate degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of experienceEducation and Experience Preferred:
          • MBA
          • Experience in IoT or IIoT start-ups or at major tech companies
