Job Description:

Field Service Engineer To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty for up to 8 to 12 hours daily. Education and/or Experience Requires high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3 to 5 years of field service experience. Must meet requirements for electrician and have a high level of mechanical aptitude in addition to those listed above. Must have 3-5 years of PLC experience and understand the logic in regards to equipment functions. Understanding of temperature controllers and AC drives including programming these devices. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, customer specifications, warranties, company standards, and operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
