Job Description Job Description Description: We are currently seeking to hire an Industrial Fabrication and Machining Planner/Estimator: Estimate and develop manufacturing plans based on customer drawings, specifications & requirements Read and interpret customer drawings and specifications Work with production to develop best manufacturing plans and processes Responsible for requisitioning some materials and services needed in the timeframe required for the project/job Act as liaison between the customer and our production team as needed Work with the customer on any changes in the scope of the order that may arise, including evaluating, estimating, quoting, and planning order changes Participate in customer conference calls and face to face meetings as needed Participate in weekly production meetings About Us Custom Engineering is a heavy fabrication, welding, and machine shop conveniently located less than a mile off the Bayfront Parkway on McClelland Ave. Our ability to complete complex jobs both long-run and short-run, top-of-the-line machinery, and outstanding quality allow us to serve many industries including oil & gas, construction, mining, transportation, power generation, and entertainment.
