ESSENTIAL DUTIES: --- Resolve product quality issues with customers with in-depth investigation of root cause. --- Assist the Division Manager by establishing, implementing, and maintaining Modern Industries' Quality Systems Manual. --- Perform inspections and participate in statistical process studies. --- Act as the divisional Quality Systems assessor and lead auditor in our ISO 17025 and NADCAP accredited division. --- Accompany customer and third party audits, and follow-up to ensure all required corrective actions are implemented and communicated to the auditing party. --- Train personnel in audit techniques, procedures, work instructions, etc. --- Ensure the timely resolution of quality issues, and lead ongoing continuous improvement projects. QUALIFICATIONS: --- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, with material science or engineering strongly preferred --- Strong computer skills (Windows, MS Office, design platform) --- Minimum of 2 years job-related experience as a quality professional or project manager WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.TRAVEL: Limited travel to other Modern locations, suppliers and misc.EOE STATEMENT We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
