Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A bilingual
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to
support K-5 students within a school district in Mesquite, Texas.
This itinerant role involves working closely with the districts
evaluation team to provide essential speech and language services
to a diverse student population in both English and Spanish. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and
assessments. Collaborate with educators and support staff to
develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students. Provide
direct speech therapy services to students in K-5 grades. Maintain
accurate documentation and progress reports. Utilize district
resources including test kits, computer access, and communication
tools. Participate in team meetings and professional development as
required. Work primarily on-site, with the flexibility to work
remotely one day per week for report writing. Qualifications:
Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential. Experience
working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-5 setting.
Strong evaluation and assessment skills. Ability to manage caseload
independently and work collaboratively within a team. Excellent
communication and organizational skills. Location: Mesquite, Texas
Schedule: Up to 30 hours per week, hybrid (primarily on-site with
one remote day) Duration: Immediate start through May 28, 2026
