business partner to the Plant Manager, directing the finance
function at a manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include
teaming with Information Systems, Procurement, and Accounting to
provide adequate manufacturing systems, with additional
responsibilities including, but not limited to: Identifying key
levers to drive business improvement and providing leadership to
ensure the implementation of business improvement opportunities
Determine, in conjunction with plant management, targeted goals for
performance measures of quality, productivity, delivery, cycle
time, inventory optimization, and profitability Performs economic
models to evaluate investment, cost savings, and product line
acquisition/divestiture opportunities Deploying business unit
initiatives Forecasting, planning, and analyzing business results
Complying with the company and business unit financial reporting
requirements Coordination of the capital appropriation process and
post-project reviews Ensuring completion of the company's
Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for internal controls Supervising
department employees Basic Qualifications: BS in Business
Administration and/or Finance Accounting from an accredited
institution. Minimum of 7 years related financial/controllership
work experience. Employees must be legally authorized to work in
the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be
required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for
this position. Preferred Qualifications: At least 5 years of
supervisory experience with the ability to manage and develop Staff
(Financial and Operational) Experience working in a manufacturing
environment in the finance field Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
skills MBA, CMA, and/or CPA Plant Controller experience for a
manufacturing facility with at least $150 million in annual
revenues. High proficiency in using MS Office software, experience
with Oracle, Hyperion, or similar systems, project management,
multi-tasking, and developing/executing data queries. Strong
analytical and decision-making skills. Strong organizational skills
with managing multiple projects with tight deadlines in a
high-pressure/high-intensity environment. Strong cost accounting
skills – Multi-level Routing and Bill of material Cost Accounting
Experience. Key to the role: Enterprise-minded understands the
needs of the business and how decisions affect P&L, balance
sheet, and future capabilities, influences cap-ex based on a broad
business case Responsive expertise prepared with information to
help guide decision making, both upon request and future planning
