Military Veterans are Encouraged to Apply. -Akkodis is seeking a Commodity Sourcing Specialist for a permanent/direct position with our client. The company is a reputable, large organization in the Aerospace industry.**Pay Rate $35 - $45hr**
Responsibilities:
--- Prepare component RFQ information for buyers and/or direct issue RFQs to suppliers
--- Drive prompt supplier replies to RFQ requests.
--- Establish and maintain tracking status on components from RFQ through delivery including actions items
--- Monitor supplier component development schedules; work proactively to highlight risks and identify potential impact to delivery schedules
--- Lead calls with suppliers to track, assess and drive progress to schedules and capture and track actions items
--- PPAP execution; monitor and expedite supplier qualification process steps with appropriate functions as necessary.
--- Maintain product cost information and provide analysis and summaries as required
--- Gather and maintain data related to overall program metrics. Provide summaries and prepare weekly updates

Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 PER HOUR
