Job descriptionRGS Products Inc. is a family-owned, growing architectural railing, and metals company in Northwest Pennsylvania. We are searching for a Controller to join our team.Average works hours are from 8:00A-5:00P, with OT as needed. We look forward to hearing from you!Job Summary:The Controller is responsible for the operation and supervision of the accounting department and office staff. This position will utilize and apply accounting principles to current processes and procedures while managing day to day operations.Supervisory Responsibilities:Oversees the daily workflow of the department.Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.Assists in recruiting, interviews, hires, and training new accounting staff.Duties/Responsibilities:Overseeing and assisting with accounting duties - accounts payable, accounts receivables and billings, reconciliation, deposits, managing accounts, payroll, taxes, balancing.Performs financial and operational analysis as well as other measurements of business performance.Reports financial performance to management.Calculate and identify budget variances and report significant issues to management.Required Skills/Abilities:Proficient with QuickBooks, required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Education and Experience:At least five years of experience in accounting required.At least three years of experience managing a team required.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAbout RGS Products Inc.:RGS Products Inc. is a full-service, architectural metals and glass fabrication company, located in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
