Documents in PCC when laboratory work is doneOn resident death, supervises and assists with post mortem procedures. Assists with collection of resident's clothing and belongings. Notifies all department heads of death via email, makes phone calls as directed by RN SupervisorEncourages resident participation in scheduled activitiesReports to team changes in resident condition, care plan changes and any special assignments to be carried outAssists RN Supervisor with annual evaluations of nursing assistantsAlong with RN Supervisor, writes commendations and counseling records as neededAccurately completes incident reports or assists team members in writing reportDocuments weights and vital signs and follows up as needed, including reweighing residents if there is a three pound or more discrepancy from the last weightCleans and stocks treatment trays dailyPrepares daily report for the wingCounts narcotics with another nurse at beginning and end of shiftMaintains an accurate inventory of resident belongings - notes new items brought in and items removed from facilityMaintains work area in clean, orderly condition.
